A Message to the President

Expressing Gratitude

To Mr. Preseident,
I write you this letter to express my sincerest gratitude and appreciation for what you have done for our country especially, during the pandemic. Amidst the crisis we are facing today and the poor economy that we have ever since and before your presidency, you have led this country to withstand the effect of the pandemic. While it is true that covid-19 affected massively the country’s economy and people’s life you have thrown with so many controversies and criticisms. Still, you remain strong for what you believe is right and for the common good.

It’s been years since you became president in the country, and until now, you’re still doing your best to improve and achieve what the people and our nation deserve. I admire you for working so hard in ruling the nation despite criticism and international opposition to your anti-narcotics drive. I am amazed at how you manage your time in leading the country, establishing campaigns and policies that improve and make the country a better one. Your administration has come very far, so I appreciate the way you lead the Filipinos. When the covid-19 started to invade our country, many people were hoping to you, even though you make mistakes, we still believe and will continue to respect you. At your age, it must be very strenuous to lead a country with more than a hundred million people, so I admire you for working so hard. Even though many individuals disagree with what you do, you did not stop fighting for the country. I appreciate the things that you do. Even if you are no longer be the president in the next few years, I hope you still fight for this nation with righteousness and justice. Other people don’t like you and your leadership. But always remember that there are people who still support you and relying on you.

No one’s perfect. We all make mistakes so ignore the people who judge and criticize you. Focus on your goal and enjoy your last term as president of the Philippines. Your achievements for the country and the people will never be abandoned and forgotten. Thank you for not giving up despite the problems, judgments, and criticisms.

Respectfully yours,

Althea Rane Reburon

  1. You did an excellent job on your blog! I liked your composition because the words you used are simple enough for your readers to understand what you really mean. Also, your thoughts are well-organized, so they do not perplex me. I became interested in your blog, where I learned that we should not pay attention and simply ignore the judgment and criticism, but rather focus on our goal in order to achieve success. You’ve been thoughtful enough to mention the problems that the Philippines is currently facing, and hopefully our country will heal despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Continue to write articles to encourage and inspire others. Thank you for your blog; please keep up the good work!
